Time Management and Feedback Reflection
Consider the following quote from John C. Maxwell: “Efficiency is the foundation for survival. Effectiveness is the foundation for success” (Maxwell, 2002, p. 43). While Maxwell writes on the topic of leadership in an organization, efficiency and effectiveness are important methods of measurement for everyone who is working to meet a goal. Merriam-Webster defines efficiency as “the capability of producing desired results with little or no waste” and effective as “producing a decided, decisive, or desired effect.” These two words, while close in definition, can be vastly different when applied to your doctoral studies, in terms of survival and success. In this Assignment, you will reflect on your ability to be effective and efficient with regard to your doctoral studies.
